Halbereth’s offerings:

Halbereth Auction #1

Organizations this auction benefits: Bidder's choice of any of
the listed groups
(See full list.)

Type of fanwork: fanfiction
Subtype(s): N/A
Fandom(s): MCU (Captain America), Sherlock (BBC), Star Wars (all)
Highest rating: M (mature)
Length/size: 5 -10k words
Especially interested in: I like exploring relationships,
especially resolving tension (sexual, anger, grief, etc.). I can do
angst, although for the purposes of an ultimately cathartic, uplifting
ending. For Star Wars fandom, I'm much more familiar with the
original trilogy and could write that better than the prequels or
sequels. For MCU, I'm comfortable writing most of the main characters
from the movies, but haven't seen any of the shows (I know, I know, I
should). Pairing-wise, I've written Steve/Bucky and could probably
write Steve/Tony or Steve/Peggy pretty well. Similarly, I trust my
ability to write Leia/Han banter. ;)
Unwilling to address: No major character death, no torture, no
non-canon bad shit, basically. Any sex scene has to fade to black; I
can barely write kisses, let alone smut. I don't like writing
anything that's sad at the end, though I'm willing to make people sad
for the purposes of character exploration and/or healing. I'll only
do AUs on a discuss-with-me basis (mostly because I don't want you to
pay for something I can't write well or keep in-character).
Notes:
Minimum Bid: $5

Auctions run from 8:00PM EST, 26 February 2019, to 8:00PM EST, 1 March
2019. Bids before or after this period are invalid and will not be
counted.
If you would like to bid on this auction:

Step 1: Check the bidding spreadsheet to find out
what the current high bid is. (Note: It may take up to five minutes
for a bid to appear.)

Step 2: Fill out the seller’s bidding form with a bid that is higher than the
current high bid. If you want to make it harder for someone to outbid
you, bid higher! You will NOT be notified if someone outbids
you,
so please bookmark this page and check frequently. You will
only be notified if you are the high bidder after the auctions end.

Halbereth Auction #2

Organizations this auction benefits: Bidder's choice of any of
the listed groups
(See full list.)

Type of fanwork: fan labor (such as betaing, brit-picking,
translating, etc.)
Subtype(s): Betaing
Fandom(s): Any
Highest rating: M (mature)
Length/size: $1 per 1K words in the story to be beta'd/edited.
Especially interested in: I am DAMN good at copy-editing (SPaG)
and word choice, if I do say so myself. I'm also decent at dialogue,
particularly when I have a good feel for the characters and how their
exchanges normally go (see below). I prefer to read funny, upbeat, or
character-analysis-centered stories and the feedback I give on those
kinds of stories will probably be better. I can give feedback on
whether people seem in-character for most people in: Star Wars (esp.
original trilogy); Star Trek original and Next Gen; Marvel (movies,
not shows); Harry Potter; Lord of the Rings; Voltron; Sherlock
(original ACD stories and BBC). If anyone's doing Tamora Pierce
fanfic, I've got that covered too for everything except the Bloodhound
series; same for Discworld (except the Rincewind and Tiffany Aching
series, which I haven't completed), Mistborn, the first Warriors cats
series, and Diane Duane's Young Wizards books up through #6.
Unwilling to address: No major character death, no torture, no
non-canon bad shit, basically. No non-con, incest, etc. I'm not
great at writing action scenes, so I wouldn't be a great editor for
them.
Notes: I request about 1 week per 1K words to read and edit. It
probably won't take that long, but my schedule is unpredictable and
I'd rather underpromise than overpromise.
Minimum Bid: $5
